Andy Anderson is the Founder, President and CEO of Anderson Group Inc. With a background in finance, acquisitions, real estate development, and strategic management, Andy has guided the company’s growth and success. His insight into market trends and his ability to seize opportunities have established him as a respected industry leader and trusted advisor to his exceptional team.

Andy started his career in finance with a focus on acquiring and selling banks. As president and CEO of International Bancorporation, he spearheaded the growth of assets from $250 million to $600 million by the time of its sale in 1997.

Building on this success, in 1997, Andy founded Anderson Financial Group (AFG), a unique combination of a bank holding company and a real estate investment firm. Starting with two community banks and assets totaling $18 million, Andy drove a 450% growth in assets within five years. Alongside developing a thriving banking network, Anderson Financial Group expanded its portfolio to include a significant number of commercial real estate holdings and property developments across the upper Midwest.

Serving as vice president of Business Development for API Group, a $4+ billion international holding company built by his father before selling in 2019, Andy recognized an opportunity to develop a new holding company model outside the banking industry. This vision led him to establish Anderson Group Inc. in 2017. Since then, under Andy’s leadership, the company has grown steadily by adding successful firms. His expertise in financial management and stragegic foresight has enabled Anderson Group to navigate complex challenges and achieve sustained, long-term growth.

A 1990 business graduate, Andy attributes his accomplishments to the values-centered education he received from Regis University in Denver, CO. The comprehensive and integrative business curriculum, which emphasizes character and service, laid the foundation for his success. Passionate about education, Andy continues to give back to his alma mater as a member of the Regis Board of Trustees, dedicating his time, talent, and financial resources. In recognition of Andy’s commitment, Regis University named its business and economics college the Anderson College of Business & Computing in his honor in 2018.

Andy’s passion and drive for excellence has led him to achievements outside of his professional career. With a love for sports, he is a proud minority owner of the Vegas Golden Knights Hockey Club and a former Professional Powerboat Racer.
